While good design is invisible,

it doesn't mean we can't highlight it with thoughtful photography.

I have a short, but impactful history with Interior Architecture and design school. In between jobs, I took classes with UCLA's Interior Architecture Program exploring the history of decorative arts, drafting classes and courses expanding on the fundamental elements of design. These courses were foundational to my personal artistic journey  gave me a deeper understanding of design as gestalt principle and of artistic practice.

While, ultimately, I returned to Photography, my eye is now shaped by my experience as a design student.
